Hearing about Ya’an Ya’an is a city not only famous for its mountains, waters and teas, but also for its giant pandas. It has distinctive natural views and historic humanities. Shangli and Wangyu ancient towns are important post houses on South Silk Road and are titled as “Throat of Western Sichuan”, “Portal to Tibet” and “National Corridor”. Its Mengding Mountain is widely recognized as the holy mountain for tea culture in the world.
 
Travelling in Ya’an Ya’an has kept rich culture for the Han Dynasty, and splendid poets and contexts such as “waterloo for Yi-Wang, triumphal arch for the Red Army” in modern times.
